Mktly

Connect ChatGPT or Claude

Mktly is a remote MCP server. Both assistants connect to the same address and sign in through Mktly with your Google account — the one you use for the dashboard.

ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors (in some versions Plugins), then Advanced → Developer mode.
  2. Choose Create (or Add → Create MCP App). Name: Mktly. MCP server URL: https://mktly.ai/mcp. Authentication: OAuth. Confirm the warning about custom servers and create.
  3. Click Continue to Mktly, sign in with your Google account, press Allow access, then Finish connecting.
  4. In a chat, pick Mktly from the “+” menu or start with “Using Mktly, …”. Keep the plugin permission on Allow low-risk tools: reads run freely, changes ask you first.

Claude

  1. Open Customize → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector. Name: Mktly. MCP server URL: https://mktly.ai/mcp. Leave the authentication defaults (“Sign in now”, “Register automatically”) and press Add.
  2. Press Connect, sign in with your Google account and press Allow access; Claude returns to the connector page.
  3. Under Tool permissions, set the read-only tools to Always allow and keep Google write on Needs approval. If Mktly is off in a chat, enable it in the tools menu.

What the assistant gets

Seven tools: list_resources, describe_method, google_read, gaql_search, google_write, dataset_read, fetch_page. There are no pre-made reports: the assistant reads the official method contracts and composes the requests itself. A change always goes through a dry run and needs your explicit yes in the conversation.

The Google APIs behind the tools

google_read and google_write call methods of these official REST APIs by their Discovery ids (for example analyticsdata.properties.runReport); describe_method returns each method's contract from the same Discovery documents. Mktly adds nothing to the data and removes nothing from it.

Access uses the OAuth scopes you grant on Google's screens; the privacy policy lists what Mktly stores.
